This historic domaine in Corbières is at the foot of Alaric mountain. The Jérémie vineyard covers some 68 hectares in theLanguedoc , Corbières and Corbières Boutenac appellations and enjoys a typically Mediterannean climate at an altitude of 40 to 150 metres above sea level. The soil is a gravelly clay limestone with round pebbles and sandstone. Each variety is vinified separately. Following grape selection, the intact Carignan bunches are placed in vats to undergo carbonic maceration. TheGrenacheandSyrah/ Shiraz are fermented for five days at a controlled temperature and then undergo maceration for three weeks. Then, 30% of the wine is aged in American and French oak barrels for six months. A wine that expresses aromas of black fruits and spice. The palate is powerful and generous with supple, ripe tannins. This wine partners perfectly with red meat.
