An exceptional wine! Château Léoville Las Cases is undeniably one of the most prestigious Bordeaux domaines in the Saint-Julien appellation. Created in 1638, it experienced the horrors and the various divisions of the Revolution before turning into the current domaine, a neighbour of the ChâteauLatourvineyard. A complex wine, the bouquet reflects long ageing (sixteen months in 85% new barrels) with toasted and vanilla notes, which allow the grapes to express themselves on aromas of forest fruits. The broad and coated palate has excellent balance, and a robust and elegant structure. Its aromas of black fruit and spice persist in a very rich finish. A perfect model of Saint-Julien.
