The Château Léoville Poyferré faces Léoville-Las Cases and neighbours Pichon-Longueville: that is to say, it’s right at the heart of the Médoc’s finest soils! This vintage from the Château Léoville Poyferré releases a rich and complex nose in which generously fruity notes of blackcurrant and cherry mingle with spice and cedar notes. The attack on the palate is frank and robust with lovely aromatic intensity. Thereafter the palate proves dense, marked by the power and elegance of its tannins. The finish has lovely length and harmonises perfectly with the purity of the vintage.
