Domaine de LaTour Blanche , like most of the Crus Classés in the appellation, is situated on a “croup”. It rises 60 metres above sea level. This gives the vines better exposure, better drainage and the benefit of very interesting soils. Tour Blanche 2010 is a veritable spice bomb, with notes of nutmeg, coriander seed, cinnamon stick and ginger powder, set against a background of pineapple upside-down cake, poached pears and bread dough. Harmonious, fine and fresh, the palate is equally pleasant, with a measured alcohol content and good balance. This wine leaves you with a sensation of lightness that is a little atypical for the appellation, but which will work wonders with creamy chicken.
