Remarkably sensual from the off, on the nose there are enticing, intense notes of blackberry, mulberry, plum and spices. Delving deeper, you discover hints of leather, iron, graphite, and more black fruits on the palate. With sweet ripe tannins and an exuberant freshness, this is a plush, silky Le Pin. A truly aristocratic wine and surely one of the best in recent times.
