Chateau Martignac is a rich and elegant wine which is why it deserves to be the ambassador of the Graves appellation! It is a family know-how that has lasted since 1847. It is a blend ofMerlotwith a littleCabernet Sauvignon . On tasting, we find a mixture of black and red fruit aromas, with notes of mocha, cocoa, spices and vanilla. The attack is soft and smooth, with a very long, fresh and toasty finish. Its ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months will have helped give it some complexity and structure, a wine that will have an ageing potential of 8-10 years. An excellent reference in Graves, not to be missed!
