After ageing for at least 15 months, the wine has superb intensity, complex aromas and a deep mouthfeel with surprising roundness and freshness! This Châteauneuf du Pape is just as tasty as the cuvée spéciale Boisrenard from the same vintage, with very similar notes of black raspberry, black olive and garrigue. Perhaps a little less full-bodied, it is a little creamy on the mid-palate, then adds notes of dark chocolate on the supple, lingering finish.
