The colour is concentrated and intense. The nose of fresh and ripe blackcurrant brings a lot of intensity to this young fruit. The ageing is well integrated, perfect and careful. On the palate, it is frank, powerful, and evolves on tight and firm tannins. The mid-palate is very fleshy. Very good aromatic persistence, with a long and elegant finish. The retro-olfaction is dominated by black fruit and by a grape harvested at high maturity to fully express the capacities of the Pavie terroir. To be kept for at least 5 to 10 years, to be enjoyed on special gastronomic occasions.
