The ChateauPavieis dense purple in colour and has a wide open, fruity palette. The complexity comes from the clever combination of spices, luxurious oak, and fresh, stewed black fruit flavours. A classic Pavie of the great vintages, vinified by the Perse family. The sensation on the palate is voluminous, ample, dense, characterised by a substance that does not leave one indifferent. Beautiful, tight tannins, contracting the mucous membranes in the middle of the palate, this is a vibrant wine, beginning to mellow. The finish is tannic, with beautiful appetizing bitters, which will need to be polished by rich meat dishes in sauce. Very long and sapid persistence, a very fine vintage, which can age a decade without any problems.
