Adjacent to ChâteauYquem , Château de Rieussec enjoys a total area of 105 compact hectares of vineyard, of which 87 are dedicated to white grapes. The excellent and ancient reputation of these wines has earned it a place in the rankings of the most renowned Sauternes wines. This 2019 vintage has a gently golden colour with green highlights, giving us an intense nose and great aromatic richness. The initial citrus zest notes give way to lemon tart notes then on to toasted notes echoing the aromas of freshly baked brioche. On the palate, we find aromas of mandarin zest and candied orange, lifted by a hint of staraniseto underline the aromatic freshness of this wine. The palate is rich and dense, presenting a good length with some lovely bitterness at the finish!
