This Grand Vin Blanc Sec (dry whitefine wine ) is a real treasure made from carefully selected old vines. With its brilliant pale yellow colour, the wine has a complex, distinguished nose. Floral, aniseed and mineral, the nose evolves towards notes of verbena, lemon, grapefruit with a hint of hazelnut, reflecting the barrel ageing. The palate is well-structured with mineral and citrus notes, evolving towards yellow fruit with aeration. The finish is fresh with citrus fruit and lime. A fine wine, still a little restrained, but showing very interesting potential for development. It should be decanted before drinking over the next 5 years.
