On top of this natural advantage, they have cultivated very old vines (70% of this wine is made from 50-year-old vines, and 30% comes from 30-year-old vines), which create wines with amazing concentration of flavour. Each grape is hand-picked to ensure only the very best make it into this wine, and then the wine itself sits in premium, old, French oak barrels for 18 months to develop complexity.
