Produced on one of the most prestigious terroirs in Chablis, Les Clos, thisGrand Crureflects all the power and precision of Côte desGrands Crus Chardonnay . The limestone and clay-limestone soil gives the wine a marked minerality and vibrant energy, while optimal sun exposure ensures ripe, elegant fruit. The William Fèvre estate, founded by William Fèvre, continues to perpetuate its expertise today thanks to an experienced team. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the vinification process combines ageing in French oak barrels and stainless steel vats to preserve the purity and tension of the wine. The old vines are carefully tended to fully express the terroir. On the nose, Les Clos 2022 opens with white flowers, citrus fruits and notes of wet stone. The palate is dense and satiny, with precise fruit (pear, white peach, lemon) and vibrant acidity that carries a long, salty and straightforward finish. This wine can be enjoyed from 2026 onwards and will reveal its full potential until 2040 and beyond, under good cellar conditions. Food and wine pairings: noble fish, shellfish, langoustines or poultry in cream sauce, served at 12-13°C to highlight the wine’s finesse and minerality.
