Domaine Alexandre, Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2023, 13% France

From 60 year old vines planted by winemaker duo Guy and Olivier’s grandfather. The quality fruit delivers a lovely crisp and clean Chablis with a bit more concentration and intensity. The nose is delicate with nectarine, lemon citrus and lots of minerality. Subtle fruity flavours develop quickly on the palate which has a soft body and a layered richness with light melon and lime fruit leading to with a fresh finish with decent length. Very precise and true to style.

A delight with oysters or a Dover sole.
