The nose develops notes of biscuit and almond, apple and herbal tea, which are enhanced with aeration by hints of citrus fruit, thyme and bay leaf. Later, deeper notes of bread, dried fruit, honey, bergamot and cooked pear are perceived. The expression is worthy of the great Champagne Bruts, as it combines the freshness of the fruit, the spices of maturity and the “yeastyâ€?aromas linked to cellar ageing. The attack on the palate is fresh and the general sensation is immediately creamy. The wine is fluid, the effervescence caressing, and the dosage is content to act as a counterpoint. Gradually, the acidity and chalky minerality highlight a silky and slightly warm texture. The whole is expressed without excess and with dynamism. A Champagne with a lot of class!
