The House ofCharles Heidsieckwas one of the first Champagne Houses to give concrete expression to its passion for Chardonnay by producing aBlanc de Blancsfrom the 1949 harvest. Two of the House’s skills come together: that of making great white wines, but also the art of blending a wide selection of wines from different years and terroirs. The Champagne Blanc de Blancs is the result of a very selective blend of 100% Chardonnay, with aromas of peach, candied citrus fruits and floral notes. On tasting, the freshness and generous tension of these typical flavours carry us to a creamy and balanced finish, surprisingly mineral and salty.
