Our ‘Houseâ€?Champagne made from a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. This is excellent value for money and has a lovely elegant ‘mousseâ€?(‘mousseâ€?is a term used with sparkling wines to describe the finesse of the bubbles within the wine). The high proportion of Pinot Noir in the blend results in a champagne that is quite creamy in texture and has a lovely depth of fruit.

Gremillet’s growers Champagne continues to be extremely well written-up in press reviews but, more importantly, has won over an increasingly large band of supporters. These are extremely elegant wines that have undergone a surprisingly long bottle-ageing process that gives them a roundness not often found at this level.

The Gremillet family own some prime-site vineyards in the Aube departement and their impeccable cellars are situated in the village of Balnot-sur-Laignes, about 50km. to the south-east of Troyes. The Brut Ambassadeur has a firm structure with a lovely soft, toasty fruit and pale straw colour.
