On the nose, there are gentle notes of cocoa, roasted coffee, quince, brioche and roasted pineapple. Further notes of peach, apricot and blackberry jelly develop as the wine opens up. The palate is round and generous, with juicy fruit and a gentle bitterness of cocoa and liquorice.
