Morgeot is a name that comes from the Gaulish “Morgaâ€?meaning limit, border. The Morgeot climate is indeed on the border between the Côte d’Or and Saône-et- Loire . With a pretty pale yellow colour, this wine releases aromas of ripe white fruit and floral notes with a touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is quite rich and charming with a tangy finish. Marked by an unprecedented frost in early April, this resulted in one of the smallest harvests in Burgundy’s history. This 2023 vintage offers a beautiful representation of the expression of its terroirs with fruity wines that are fresh and very refined!
