This Cognac is produced from a mixture of Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard , distilled in Montifaud’s recently renovated stills, which create a fabulously fruity spirit. This Cognac is aged long and slow in French Oak casks in Montifaud for 30 years, developing some frankly astonishingly complex flavours. A classic example of how good Cognac can be. Even in the competitive Hors D’Age category, this bottling holds its own, with outstanding flavours of rich, dried grape, old oak panelling and tobacco smoke.
