Wonderful wine in 2005 showing tremendous balance between honeyed, peachy intensity and fresh vibrant acidity. In spite of the wine’s power it shows considerable elegance. Will drink well early but also reward keeping. Drink 2015 to 2027.

Chateau de Myrat is on a raised plateau in Barsac. The property has a total area of 30 hectares, of which 8 hectares is a park. The soil is typical of Barsac, with significant deposits of lime and clay. 88% Semillon, 8% Sauvignon and 4% Muscadelle.
