The fruit of a beautiful vintage, the 2022 Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse will fancy the lovers of Pauillac red wines with its exceptional quality, marked by a very beautiful aromatic richness. This cuvee promises a superb aging potential.

The 2022 vintage opened with a very rainy and mild winter which immediately laid the foundations for an early vintage. The talent of the teams at the chateau was therefore put to the test of a very rapidly evolving vine cycle. Thanks to its great know-how, the estate has succeeded in enhancing, with its work, the solar, spicy, unctuous but also fresh and tight character of grapes, offering a wine bearing the signature style of the greatest vintages.

Wine Enthusiast Review – Rated 94:This estate, whose chateau is on the Gironde estuary front in Pauillac, is a solid, tannic wine. Its Cabernet Sauvignon brings out black-currant fruits and shows fine potential. It is a wine for aging, drink from 2027.

James Suckling Review – Rated 93:Fresh and precise nose showing red currants, subtle chili chocolate, mineral and a drizzle of white pepper. More elegant and refined than being dense and compact. Tannins are still firm and vertical on the medium-bodied palate with a subtle finish of very good length.
