In 1993 Chopin created the world’s first super premium vodka, and have remained at the industry’s forefront ever since, driven by a guiding purpose: to show the world that well-made, ingredient-forward vodka is worthy of being sipped and savored in the same way as whiskey or wine.

As Poland’s last family-owned vodka maker, the Dorda family proudly produce small-batch, hand-crafted vodka from their own distillery in the pristine countryside of eastern Poland. They know the best vodka is never ‘odorless’ or ‘tasteless,’ and through their single ingredient Vodka, they invite you to discover for yourself just how nuanced, complex and flavorful vodka can truly be.

The potato vodka uses fresh high starch potatoes – sometimes potatoes are re buried in soil to keep them cool while awaiting their turn. The potatoes are washed and steam cooked ready for a 2 week fermentation with their signature yeast strain. Distilltion occurs in an original copper still that was built in 1896 – one of the oldest remaining stills in Poland – and rested for two weeks in barrels to mellow and develop flavour. Finally the vodka is bottled on site.
