A distinguished, charming and subtly fruity cider, designed for lovers of fine, authentic sensations. Born on the sunny hillsides of Lisieux, in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, this brut cider embodies the pure expression of a preserved terroir and patiently refined know-how. The apples, from a high-stem orchard around forty years old, are harvested when fully ripe, then fermented slowly to reveal all the aromatic richness of a cider that is both balanced and gourmet. Some even come from the apple trees on Claude Lelouch’s estate, giving this cuvée a unique touch, steeped in history and emotion. Its golden colour precedes a frank and generous nose, combining cooked apples, vanilla and warm apple pie. On the palate, the supple attack opens onto a long finish, marked by notes of compote and sweet spices. This special edition is a tribute to Claude Lelouch’s cult film Un homme et une femme, whose unforgettable love story is now being revived on the Croisette in the official Cannes Film Festival poster. The delicate, poetic label depicts a couple embracing, in a gesture suspended in time.
