Pouilly-Fuissé AME Forest Vieilles Vignes 2020

Pale golden straw with subtle green reflections, luminous and inviting. A layered bouquet of white orchard fruits (pear, white-peach), fresh citrus zest (lemon, grapefruit), delicate florals and a whisper of toast or hazelnut. A subtle mineral edge adds complexity. Medium-bodied yet vibrant, tempered by bright acidity and fine mineral drive. Fruit remains fresh (white peach, citrus) with underlying creamy lees influence and a refined oak note (vanilla/toast) simply supporting. The finish is long, elegant.

Domaine Charles Audoin, Pommard En Mareau

Deep ruby-garnet with a clear rim, indicating good concentration and depth.Opens with an expressive bouquet of dark cherries, plums and blackberries, layered with cedar, dried herbs, subtle violet and forest-floor notes. A fine underpinning of earth and minerality adds complexity. Medium to full-bodied with firm yet refined tannins. The fruit core is rich and dark (black cherry, ripe plum) balanced by crisp acidity and a chalky or stony mineral seam. Mid-palate shows spice (clove, black pepper) and subtle cedar/vanilla oak tones. The finish is long, structured, and leaves an impression of both power and elegance.
