Sometimes dreams really do come true and in this case Claymore Wines have realised a long held dream of their boss to produce their very own “Monte”. Working with grower partners from the Langhorne Creek region of South Australia, who specialise in alternative varietals, we are BEYOND excited to welcome this inaugural release!

It’s got gently grippy tannins, bright red cherry and raspberry flavour profile with a slightly funked up savoury edginess, reminiscent of coffee.

Let this not be an unrequited love – be tempted and you will be rewarded.

Colour: Bright crimson

Aroma: Lifted and appealing red cherry and raspberry notes with hints of mocha coffee.

Palate: A medium weight, elegantly structured alternative with gently grippy tannins. Bright primary fruit is complemented by a subtle savoury edge.
