Clef de Sol is made with pureSauvignonon poor and drained sands and flint clay on a limestone bed. This boutique wine needs a little time to settle down. It is just beginning to show its potential. The wine is very fleshy with a sinuous start. Mid-palate it has a very elegant grain and the finish is tannic. Its bitter aftertaste is now revealed as a major asset in bringing the wine a unique elegance. With such a balance we can already see a very great ageing potential of at least 8 years. Enthusiasts of the great Loire bottles will not tire of this wine!
