Deep ruby red in colour with a fine and persistent mousse. On the nose, there are vivid notes of blackberry and wild berries. On the palate, the wine is characterised by a nice freshness, with a powerful acidity and a persistent fruity finish.

Traditional vinification, through natural in-bottle fermentation which is followed by a six-month ageing. The grapes were hand harvested and went through a second selection before soft pressing. The must then underwent a light maceration for 24 hours at 10° â€?12°C. Finally, a slow “prise de mousseâ€?occurred in “cuve closeâ€?at a low temperature.

The grapes for this wine are grown in the village of Sozzigalli, in the north of the province of Modena. The vines are planted in a single vineyard of 15 hectares on flat land, with soil rich in silt due to its alluvial origins.
