Edouard Delaunay’s Clos de VougeotGrand Cru2020 is a rare cuvée of exceptional quality! One of the two parcels from which this cuvée is made is located to the west in the upper part of the Clos, and the other is to the north in the middle of the hillside. Here, the thin, chalky soils at the top of the Clos become deeper and more clayey, producing wines that are both very elegant and also rich and deep. The wine is aged for 14 months mainly in new oak barrels, giving it an ageing potential of over 20 years. To be enjoyed now or forgotten in the cellar, this great Burgundy will not disappoint purists of the appellation.
