Clos Galena Formiga de Vellut Priorat is an intense, concentrated wine from Priorat in Catalonia that is made from a blend of Garnacha, Carinena and Syrah. It has intense ripe fruit aromas with a hint of liquorice and on the palate there is much concentrated rich fruit with a hint of spice and great length.

The Clos Galena winery is the culmination of a whole family’s continuous work. The Pérez and Dalmaus families have made this winery the project of their lives, their objective being to create fine and unique wines, wines which awaken aromas and palates, the same way art awakens the senses. The exceptional combination of a singular terroir, a tenacious dream and a qualified team motivated by excellence have produced singular and extraordinary wines capable of transmitting the whole culture, the land and the landscape of the Priorat Vineyards are taken care of without using systemic fungicides, insecticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilisers. Plagues and weeds are prevented and controlled through mechanic, traditional and/or natural methods, and fertilising is accomplished with compost, green fertiliser or manure.
