Jeb Dunnuck Review – Rated 93:The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vieilles Vignes is along the same lines yet brings more mid-palate depth and richness. Kirsch liqueur, orange blossom, white pepper, Provençal garrigue, and gorgeous spice notes all shine here, and it’s medium to full-bodied, has a deep, layered mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. Based on 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 4% Vaccarèse, 3% Mourvèdre, and 3% Cinsault, it’s a gem of a wine and in this is vintage appears to be a solid step up over the classic cuvée.
