Fabien Jouves, a young, experienced winemaker, took over the family vineyard on the slopes of Trespoux, the highest part of the appellation, in 2006. Usingorganicviticulture methods, this estate offers an intelligent, modern vision of Cahors wine, based on a desire to preserve the fruitiness of the Malbec grape while at the same time expressing the terroirs. Cochon de dieu is a cuvée in the spirit of the wines released in the spring. But this one has a little more shoulder while retaining its character. Light and fruity, it expresses fresh fruit and citrus notes with tenderness. The perfect convivial wine!
