Constellation du Scorpion is the third wine fromGaudry . It comes from the so-called “Les Bouloisesâ€?at Saint-Satur, an exposedsouth-westslope just below some woodland where the ground is “flintyâ€?â€?a mix of sandy silicious clay. Constellation du Scorpion is made fromSauvignonBlanc, vinified and aged in oak vats. Constellation du Scorpion is a tense, joyful wine. With a perfect balance, it displays a sunny fullness, with a good fresh flavour and notes of grapefruit and citrus. Its mineral depth and balance make this a worthwhile example of this great Sancerre terroir. It is a vintage that has been enshrined by Robert Parker this year and not for nothing. Put this in your cellar for a few years!
