The inspiration for this cuvée came from the wines produced by the Parcé family’s great-grandparents, a few bottles of over-ripe Grenache with a typical “Rancio” flavour that they used to enjoy at Christmas. The younger generations have ageding unforgettable memories of this, which they wanted to share. This dry Maury is made from Grenache grapes harvested at a good ripeness, followed by a long maceration to give the wine its full-bodied character, but with a gentle extraction that retains all the roundness without the tannins. The result is a wine concentrated on the fruit (Morello cherry) with an incredible minerality that gives it a very appreciable and unexpected tension.
