Cornalin is one of the oldest grape varieties planted in the canton of Valais, producing one of the best wines in the country. Vinified in stainless steel vats, Cornalin 2023 is pure and fresh, with a spicy, slightly cool and floral nose typical of Alpine wines, evoking cooked fruit, blackberry and blackcurrant. A fresh and supple attack introduces a smooth palate, well supported by fine acidity and firm tannins that sustain a long finish of wild black fruits. A most harmonious bottle, to be enjoyed both in its youth and after a few years of ageing, which will be particularly good with red meat.
