The Coup de Foudre cuvée comes from old vines over 60 years old, grown on 2.5 hectares of sandy, poor, well-drained granite soils, ideal for producing concentrated, expressive wines. Certifiedorganic , these vines are carefully tended according to biodynamic principles and pruned using the gobelet method in accordance with the lunar calendar. Rigorous manual harvesting ensures a healthy and ripe crop, vinified using cold carbonic maceration, without sulphur or yeast, for 17 to 20 days. The wine is aged mainly in old barrels (225 litres) supplemented by demi-muid barrels for 7 to 8 months, followed by refinement in the bottle before release. On the nose and palate, Coup de Foudre seduces with its solid structure, elegance and depth that increases with age. Sealed with wax, this cuvée can be enjoyed now or kept for 5 to 8 years to reveal its full complexity.
