CuneGranReserva2018–CVNE

CVNE always sources half of its wine-making grapes but it now uses all its own-grown grapes for its vintage Cune Gran Reserva. Produced during a great vintage, this wine is a blend of 85%Tempranillo , 10% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo (Cariñena). Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and concrete vats with wild yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in concrete vats and then aged in French and American oak barrels for two years. The bottles are stored for at least three years before being put on the market. This vintage is generous and charming, with a nose of ripe fruits such as black cherry, fig and with gently spiced notes that reflect the traditional Gran Riservas style. The palate is smooth and balanced with very fine, silky tannins. A powerful Gran Riserva – still young but so seductive already!
