The Barbare vineyard was born in 2000 on the shores of the Marmara Sea in the region of Thrace.Organicand biodynamic since its origins, the 25-hectare estate flourishes in a climate that is conducive to vine growing. The name Barbaros pays tribute to the neighbouring village of Barbaros. Xavier Vignon has been involved with the estate since its inception, working closely with its founder Can Topsakal. As a friend and consulting enologist, Xavier still visits the estate several times a year to accompany the teams throughout the vineyard and wine-making process.
