Delas Frères Crozes-Hermitage Les Launes 2020 is a fruit-forward example of Northern Rhône Syrah, expressing the dark fruit and black pepper spice that exemplifies Crozes-Hermitage perfectly. This appellation is the largest of the region, and this wine is sourced from a variety of different vineyards and terroirs, including granite, loess and galets roulées.

Delas Frères is one of the key vineyard owners on the hill of Hermitage, in addition to owning many other top terroirs across the Northern and Southern Rhône. They work also with farmers to source grapes for their negociant wines. In general, the Delas style is for wines that are both plush and detailed; their wines offer straightforward pleasure and at the same time are articulate in expressing terroir. Winemaker Jacques Grange, originally from Burgundy, is often credited with bringing an elegant style to the wines made at this now world-class Domaine.
