The Armida symbolises the long journey which De Martino embarked upon in 1996, giving birth to the first varietally labelled Carménère in Chile and making a commitment to expressing the full potential of this very special grape. This glorious red is a deep and intense colour and reveals aromatic layers of spices, black pepper and black fruit in which the notes of oak and leather from the ageing are perfectly integrated. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied and intensely fruity with a silky texture and very fine tannins that are beautifully balanced with the fresh acidity.With a very long finish, this wine is reaching its maturity and demonstrating all of its great potential.
