Tasmania’s eastern coast produces the renowned Devil’s Corner wines, named after a treacherous bend in the river Tamar.

We visited here in Feb 2019 – one of the most beautiful wineries in the world.

This is a very fruit-driven style of Pinot, made from grapes sourced from a multitude of vineyard sites on the north and east of the island. Ripe morello cherry and strawberry notes combine with silky, soft tannins and a fresh, crisp finish. It’s featured in both Matthew Jukes’ and The Wine Merchant’s Top 100 Wines and scored 91 points in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2018.
