Dit de l’Hortus, a cuvée from the parcel of l’Ombrée, one of the most beautiful terroirs of the property. This plot faces due north in the middle of the slope under the summit of the Pic Saint-Loup, the ideal climate for producing quality wines. The vines thrive in a climate that is both cool and humid, which explains why they do not suffer from summer drought. This results in a grape with a beautiful maturity, combining elegance and an excellent balance between the quality of the tannins, acidity and aromas. The Cuvée “L’Ombréeâ€?charms with its beautiful bright red colour, and this continues right through to the service. Aromas of red and black fruits such as blueberries and blackberries, with hints of spices, liquorice and touches of violets and garrigue, take us to the heart of Occitania. A journey through the senses, towards a silky and delicate palate, with a savoury texture and long and fine tannins for a lasting pleasure. L’Ombrée is often categorized as one of the best Pic-Saint-Loup of the Midi!
