Dit de l’Hortus – La Soulane is a remarkable red wine made from Mourvèdre grapes grown on 8 hectares of south-facing terraces beneath the Hortus cliff. This exceptional terroir, combined with limited production, produces a wine of rare quality. The vinification process combines destemming and crushing, gentle extraction and long maceration to refine the tannins, followed by 10 months of ageing in vats and then 10 months in bottles, guaranteeing finesse and complexity. This wine reveals itself through a deep colour, an intense nose with aromas of black fruits and garrigue, and a fine, textured palate with a long, delicate and fresh finish.
