Dolio2021–AdegaF.Algueira

Dolio 2021 is the third vintage of a cuvée from the two vineyards Carballocobo and Cortezada, where eachgrape varietybrings its own personal touch. The whole bunches were trodden by foot and fermented in truncated oak vats. Some of the destemmed grapes were added and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then aged in 225-litre barrels and 2,000-litre casks for 23 months. This wine has a wonderfully complex nose of dried herbs and wild berries. The palate is medium-bodied to full-bodied, elegant and lively, with precise, concentrated tannins and incisive energy. The whole is balanced, with an airy, lively fruitiness that gives the wine both elegance and depth. Ready to drink or keep.
