Founded in 1904 by Kaiser Wilhelm II, Domäne Serrig was the most avant-garde public estate of its time. Privatised in 1980, it was acquired by Markus Molitor in 2016. This Grosse Lage is pure, deep and intense, with a spectacularly fine, mineral nose and a fresh, herbaceous expression of terroir. On the palate, it is a dense, medium-bodied Riesling with vibrant freshness and a spectacularly long, refined and saline finish. It reveals a serious tannic structure, indicating tremendous ageing potential.
