Historically a Prussian state estate in Serrig, Saarland, Domäne Serrig has been owned by Markus Mollitor since 2016. The unique terroir occupies 25 hectares of southwest-facing vines, at altitudes of up to 340 meters, on steep slopes. Kabinett is pure, bright and fresh with a very delicate flinty nose, showing precise, elegant fruit and herbal nuances of nettle and mint. The sweetness is discreet and counterbalanced by the immense mineral and saline drive. The finish is spectacularly long and taut, extremely complex and stimulating, even at this young age.
