A fresh and balanced Sancerre from an excellent small domaine

This quintessential Sancerre offers a fresh and balanced taste with good persistence. It displays a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, an elegant fragrance of lemon citrus, green apple and grapefruit emerges, accompanied by delicate notes of minerals. On the palate, a zesty acidity offers a pleasingly fresh and a broad mouthfeel delivers a well-balanced experience with a lengthy finish.

Cellaring: Perfect nowFood Pairing: It excels alongside delicate seafood dishes like grilled sea bass with lemon, oysters or a light summer salad tossed in a vinaigrette. Also delicious with a fresh Crottin de Chavignol or any high-quality goat cheese | ?️ Serve slightly chilled at a temperature around 8°C and 10°C.

STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

André Vatan inherited from his father Jean who passed away suddenly in 1988. He has cemented the already excellent reputation of the estate’s wines working with meticulous care in the vineyards and cellar assisted by his wife Aimée. He has gradually expanded the domaine and today has 10ha of vines with 1ha of Pinot Noir and the rest Sauvignon Blanc.
