91/100, Outstanding, Top Value – In contrast to the expressiveness of the Nuits, this is aromatically restrained and somber and only grudgingly reveals its aromas of various dark berries, spice and violet scents. The sleek and impressively intense flavors possess a lacy mid-palate mouthfeel that contrasts moderately with the saline-inflected and mineral-driven finish that is presently on the youthfully austere side. This beauty of a Chambolle villages will need at least a few years of cellaring and should reward up to a decade’s worth. – Allen Meadows, Burghound

90/100 – The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Village is a lovely wine, wafting from the glass with notes of raspberries, cherries, rose hips and spices. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with more depth, concentration and length than the 2017 rendition, while avoiding any of the imbalances that mark some of the Chambolle wines produced in this frost-ravaged vintage. – William Kelley, Wine Advocate

90/100 – The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a lovely raspberry, Morello cherry and pressed flower scented bouquet, perhaps more mineral driven than the Nuits Saint-Georges.
