From the terroir of Clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 150 to 200 meters – Haut-Minervois Causse.

Domaine Cailhol Gautran is nestled in the rolling countryside at the foothills of the Massif Central. The hamlet of Cailhol lies in a valley carved by the Cessière River, which flows into the Cesse, both cutting through the limestone Causse of the Haut Minervois.The estate’s vineyards extend within a 3-kilometer radius, thriving on a sun-drenched, south-facing limestone plateau at an altitude of 250 meters. Covering 55 hectares, these vineyards are situated on the estate’s finest terroirs, producing wines that reflect the character of this exceptional landscape.
