Les Enseignères is the most acclaimed climat for producing village-level white wines in Puligny-Montrachet. It owes its popularity to its exceptional geographic situation and geology, similar to the neighbouring Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet. It is planted amongst clay-limestone soils with an average vine age of 65 years.
